The Following are Photos, Specifications and Explanations of the STX Turboforce 1200W “Classic Edition” Electric Meat Grinder and all of the parts that come with this product. Grinder Assembled with All Parts Shown – 1st Photo Above: This photo shows the Complete Grinding Kit with All of the Parts that are included with this grinder. High Capacity Meat Hopper Tray – 2nd Photo Above: This Grinder Now Features a High Capacity Meat Tray that can Easily hold up to 3 Lbs. This Tray is 9.75″ Long x 7.25″ Wide x 2.00 Deep. When you Combine these Features with the AVI (Advanced Variable Intake) Auger, you can easily grind Up to 225 Lbs. Of meat per hour depending on the type of meat you are grinding and if your meat is already cut into cubes or stripped for grinding. 3 Speed Control System with Stop/Reset Button – 3rd Photo Above: ON/1 is the High Speed used mostly for grinding all meats, ON/2 is the Low Speed normally used when you want to Stuff Sausage and REVERSE is used in case something gets caught inside the grinding head and needs to be backed out. If the grinder maxes out its Wattage by something very hard being dropped down the feed chute (like a knife or a hard bone), it will immediately stop to avoid damage. All you have to do is take the grinding head off the unit and clear the obstruction, reattach the grinding head to the unit, wait for 10 Seconds and then push the STOP & RESET Button and the grinder will turn back on so you can continue grinding. Grinding Head (4 Parts) – 1st Photo Above: The Grinding Head is a Size #12 and not a smaller Size #5 or Size #8 like most kitchen grinders. The 4 parts of this grinding head are manufactured/molded from 100% Food Grade Polished Cast Aluminum (Not Coated). These parts of the grinder should NOT be Washed in the Dishwasher , but should be washed with a mild detergent (like Dawn Liquid) and hot water, towel dried immediately and stored in a dry place. Grinding Plates (Set of 3) “Plus” 1 Sausage Stuffing Plate – 2nd Photo Above: 3 Sizes/Styles of Tempered/Hardened Steel Grinding Plates come Standard with this grinder for most every type of “Grind” you will ever want to do. The diameter of the grinding plates are 2-5/8 (the Standard for a Size #12 Grinder) which makes for a much faster grind due to the larger output for the meat to extrude out while being ground. The Sizes of the extrusion holes in the grinding plates are as follows: 4 mm – 5/32″ – 0.156″, 7 mm – 9/32″ – 0.281″ and we have also included what is called a “Wagon Wheel Plate” for larger Sausage Grinds. Please note this unit will Not Grind Bones. Also shown in the 2nd Photo Above is a Sausage Stuffing Plate which is used for Stuffing Sausage ONLY. These plates are made specifically for use in electric meat grinders when you want to stuff sausage as they allow more sausage to slow through the grinding head into the sausage casing. Please note that these Grinding Plates are manufactured from Hardened/Tempered Steel and should (like the Grinding Head) NOT be Washed in the Dishwasher. They should also be washed with a mild detergent (like Dawn Liquid) and hot water, towel dried immediately and we then suggest you coat them with a food grade oil for good grade silicone and then stored in a plastic bad ready for their next use. Cutting Blades (Set of 3) – 3rd Photo Above: The 3 Cutting Blades that come standard with this grinder are manufactured from 304 Food Grade Stainless Steel. Since the cutting blades are manufactured from stainless steel, you can wash these by hand in hot water or put them in the dishwasher if you wish. Sausage Stuffing Tubes – 1st Photo Above: A Set of 3 Sizes of Sausage Stuffing Tubes along with the Adapter are also included with this grinder. The Diameter of the Tubes are 3/4 Inch, 5/8 Inch and 1/2 Inch. When stuffing sausage with this grinder DO NOT use a Cutting Blade! To stuff sausage: Insert the auger (also know as a Snake by some) into the grinding head, then insert the Beaner Plate next to keep the auger centered. Next insert one of the 3 sizes of stuffing tubes into the back of the adapter (sausage parts are pictured below). Hold these connected sausage tube parts to the front of the grinding head and secure them by placing the head locking cap over them and tightening the to the grinding head. You are now ready to stuff your sausage. Please note that the All Inclusive Instructions that come with this grinder explain this more in depth and also include illustrations on how to do this correctly. Kubbe/Kibbe Attachment – 2nd Photo Above: A Kubbe (also know as a Kibbe) Attachment comes with this grinder. For those of you who are not familiar with Kubbes, they are a Traditional Middle Eastern Dish comprised of a cylinder-like shell made from meat with lamb and bulghar wheat. The center is then stuffed with a spiced minced lamb filling and the ends are sealed to form the Kubbe which is then Deep Fried. Meat Pusher – 3rd Photo Above: We have designed a new type/style of Meat Pusher for stuffing your raw meat down into the grinder. Although this grinder will normally just pull the meat down into the grinder to be ground if you strip the meat instead of cube it, you can just use the palm of your hand on the top of this pusher instead of gripping it with your hands and this pusher is much less tiring than the older versions of pushers. Meat Claws – 1st Photo Above: Now, rather than burn your hands or ruin your oven gloves, you can grab that steaming hot turkey or prime rib with these durable Meat Claws. These Multipurpose Multi-Prong Claws also give you the solid grip when you are stripping or cubing meat to grind. And when you want to shred pork or other meats, no problem. These claws can get it done. Burger or Slider Press – 2nd & 3rd Photo Above: The Complete Home Meat Grinding Package would not be complete without this Perfect Burger or Slider Press. Now you can be prepared for any big burger occasion in a snap. Have perfect burgers or sliders ready in your freezer using the waxed transfer sheets that also come with this Burger Press. Fine Grind – 1st Photo Above. 4 mm – 5/32″ – 0.156″. Grinding plate is most used for grinding meat for burgers that you fry on the grill or in a pan on the stove. As mentioned above, if you want to get the best natural mix of lean meat and fat for your burgers, we highly suggest that you use either the course or the medium plate first to grind your meat and then run it through again (double grind) with this fine plate. The photo above of this grind was taken after a double grind. Medium Grind – 2nd Photo Above. You will get a medium grind by using the. 7 mm – 9/32″ – 0.281″. This plate is also using quite a bit of the time for stuffing sausages when you want a less course grind stuffed in the sausages. This plate can also be used for the 1st grind of a double ground batch of meat. Course Grind – 3rd Photo Above. If you want a course grind for your meat, the wagon wheel grinding plate is the best plate to use for this purpose. Course ground meat is normally used for stuffing sausage like polish sausage, bratwursts, kielbasa, etc. This plate is also used when you wish to “double grind” your meat for a natural mix of the lean meat and fat in your mix.
