MHC-50 Colloid Commercial Grinding Mill. Material: All 304 grade stainless steel. Voltage:110v, 60Hz, single phase. Motor Speed 2880 rpms. A Colloid Grinding Mill is for making of very fine dispersions of liquids or solids by breaking down particles in an emulsion or paste. A colloid mill is a machine that is used to reduce the particle size of a solid in suspension in a liquid, or to reduce the droplet size of a liquid suspended in another liquid. Applying high levels of hydraulic shear to the process liquid, it is frequently used to increase the stability of suspensions and emulsions. Colloid mills are used in the following industries. Pharmaceutical: pigments, dyes, paints, lubricants, grease, petroleum catalyst, Detergents, plastics, glass, steel, leather. All kinds of syrups, nutrition, medicinal paste, biological Jelly, vaccines, various creams and fluids. Cosmetic: toothpaste, detergent, shampoo, shoe polish, cosmetics, soap. Food : Nut butters, ketchup, mustard and mayonnaise, Syrups, Aloe Vera, Pollen, ice cream, jam, fruit juice, soybean milk, soybean Paste and much more! This machine can be used for any of these purposes but we are offering it to customers to make peanut butter at home or in a store to sell to customers. Make peanut butter, almond butter, cashew butter, pecan butter, macadamia butter, hazelnut butter, pistachio butter, and more… With this exclusive and proven commercial nut butter mill. Unlike other machines that require a certain size of nut, the size of the nut does not matter for the MHC-50. Though the smaller the size the faster it will work. Forget other machines you have used in the past. They do not make real peanut butter. They simply grind it into small pieces and mix it with the oil from the nut not making a very uniform product. It looks and tastes similar to Jiff, Skippy, Peter pan and other commercial brands, but has not other ingredients in it except what you put in it. No other ingredient is required to make the butter except the nut. No oil, no salt, no hydrogenated nothing. Simply make your peanut butter and put it in the fridge to keep it fresh and the oil from separating. Use organic roasted peanuts for even healthier living. Have fun experimenting with this machine. The MHC-50 is easy to use and put together. Notice the machine is bolted to the wood platform. Using a wrench remove the bolts from the machine. Unpack the separate components and get familiar with them. Bag with extra o-rings gaskets and belts. These are extra and do not need to be installed prior to use. They are for future maintenance of your machine. Hopper- This is what you put the nuts into. Circulating pipe- a pipe that looks like a sink pipe to wash your hands. This is used in cleaning the machine and should point so the spout is over the Hopper. A valve with a blue handle connected to another small pipe unit – this is the plumbing part that has a handle to open and shut a valve to make the flow go up or down through the 2 different pipe exits. This is used to send the flow of butter out the down spout and into your jar or when cleaning the machine sending water or soap and water up through the circulating pipe, into your hopper and into the mill grinder. The MHC-50 has rubber legs to keep it steady on your table or bench. Underneath you will see it has belts like car belts to turn the motor and the grinder. If these every break you can find them at any auto parts store. You will note the machine is heavy and weighs over 100 lbs so please have 2 people move it. A young strong adult male can move it though with caution. Do not plug this in at any time until you are ready to use it. It is a dangerous commercial machine and should be treated with respect. Do not ever put anything in the machine unless it is running first. Do not leave any water or butter in the machine when done. Always Clean the machine after every use. Do not put anything in this machine except nuts to make nut butter. Screw the hopper clockwise by hand into the top of the grinder opening till it is snug but not so tight you cannot remove it later to clean it. Using a wrench or by hand screw the nut counter clockwise around the Exit Valve/Pipe Combo till it is snug so it does not move around by hand anymore. Make sure the downspout is facing down like in the photo. Screw the Nut clockwise around the Circulator pipe and face it like in the photo. Does everything look like the photo? Is everything tight and put together correctly? Before first using the machine you should clean it with normal dishwashing soap detergent and water. Move the machine so the downspout is over a bucket or a sink. Mix some soap and water in another bucket. Turn the valve off or parallel with the spout that the butter comes out of. This will send the water soap mixture up through the top sink pipe and back into the machine. Plug the machine in and turn the knob to 1, which is On. The machine will start running. Now pour the soapy water mixture into the hopper. The mixture should be running through the top pipe and back into the hopper circulating the soapy mixture through the machine at a fast pace. Now turn the valve on or down so it is perpendicular to the out spout the butter comes out of. Now the soapy water mixture will exit through the downspout into your sink or bucket. Now repeat the procedure 5 or 6 times with plain water till you have cleaned all the soap out. This same procedure will be used to clean your peanut butter machine after use. You can also remove the parts and clean them by hand. Do not attempt to clean or put your hands or anything inside the grinder unit. When you are done turn everything off and unplug the unit. First plug the machine in. Have your peanuts ready to fill the hopper but DO NOT PUT THEM IN UNTIL THE MACHINE IS ON AND RUNNING!!! Have your jar under the downspout to catch the nut butter. Make sure the valve is on or perpendicular to the spout the nut butter comes out of. Turn the switch to 1 or on. The machine is running and ready to make nut butter. Start scooping your roasted shelled peanuts into the Hopper. Keep filling it until you are out of nuts or have made enough nut butter. After a minute or so the nut butter will start coming out of the downspout and for a few minutes more after the Hopper is empty. Watch out the Nut Butter is hot. Let it cool a bit before refrigerating it. I use old peanut butter jars, but canning jars are also good and can be vacuum sealed with a Food Saver Jar Sealer. After all the Nut butter is removed start your cleaning procedure. The better you clean the longer your machine will last and the fresher your Nut butter will taste. If you are using the Machine in a retail store cleaning after each use is not necessary as long as the machine is used on a daily basis. If the machine is not going to be used for 12 hours or more we suggest you clean it or at the end of a shift or at store closing. This machine is better for employees to use behind the counter to make peanut butter for the customer. Do not allow customers to use this machine without supervision. It is a commercial industrial machine and must be respected and operated safely.
